Your Health Data Privacy

Last updated August 30, 2026

This page explains what we do with health-related information we collect outside of a treatment record — for example, when you write to us, book a session, ask a question, or sign up for a course. Information in a massage therapy treatment record is handled under Washington State’s health care information law and is covered by the consent form you sign in person.

What we collect

  • Your name and how to reach you.

  • Anything you tell us about your health or why you are getting in touch, in a contact form, a booking note, or an email.

  • What you booked, ordered, or enrolled in, and when.

  • Payment details, which our payment provider handles. We do not hold card numbers.

Where it comes from

  • Directly from you, by form, email, phone, or in person.

  • From the contact and booking forms on our websites.

  • From a health care provider who refers you, when you have asked them to contact us.

Why we collect it

  • To answer you, and to decide whether we can help.

  • To arrange and prepare for a session, a course, or an order.

  • To keep our own records of what was asked and answered.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need in order to operate: our website and online booking platform, our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our payment processor. If we use an accountant or bookkeeper, they may see payment and order records, but not session notes. Each of these is permitted to use the information only to provide that service to us. We do not sell consumer health data and we do not seek permission to sell it. We share it with anyone else only when you ask us to, or if the law requires it.

Your choices and your rights

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold health-related information about you, to give you a copy, to tell you which third parties have received it, to stop using it, or to delete it. Withdrawing consent will not change the care you receive.

We will respond within forty-five days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and may take up to another forty-five days. If we say no, we will explain why and tell you how to appeal. If we refuse your appeal, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.

To make any of these requests, or to withdraw your consent, contact us:

Email: arden@innersoundonline.com
Phone: 1 (206) 618-3985 (WhatsApp)
Website: www.innersoundonline.com or www.ardenwilken.com
You can reach us at the email address above from either website, and a request sent through the contact form on either site reaches the same person.

Please tell us what you are asking for and give us a way to reach you back. We may need to check who you are before we act on a request about health information.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

We keep health-related information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us for, and then delete it securely. Access is limited to the people who need it. Paper is kept locked and shredded when finished with. Electronic records are kept in access-controlled accounts.

We do not use location tracking or geofencing of any kind, and we do not target advertising based on where you are or on any health interest.
